Nobody feels good all of the time, so you are pretty much worthless.
There is always sickness and disease spreading, so if you don't feel good, then you will let everybody down. If you work hard when you feel good, that will never come. There is always something wrong with you that might make you feel bad. I've worked hard when I felt bad. Did it hurt me? No it didn't. I've practiced in basketball and baled hay with hurt fingers, skinned elbows, and an upset stomach. Everytime I felt bad while doing stuff that you absolutely need to work hard in, I've always tried my hardest to complete them. You are basically worthless if you don't work hard at what you do.
In the future, my career will require me to work my hardest and try the absolute best I can do. If I don't work hard, then my employers will probably fire me for not trying. They will give it to the guy that is working his butt off. How you work will have an impact on your life. The only way how to be successful in life is by putting in hard work. Being successful requires hard work.
Harriet Tubman should have a monument in Washington D.C. because of all of the things she has done for slaves and the North during the Civil War.
Harriet Tubman deserves a monument in Washington D.C. because of the ways how she helped people. Harriet Tubman helped free slaves from their slave owners. According to Biography.com "Over time, she was able to guide her parents, several siblings and about 60 others to freedom." Harriet Tubman lead slaves to the North by using a system of tunnels called the Underground Railway. In the North, the slaves would have more rights than they would of if they stayed in the South. This all Changed when the Fugitive Slave Act took effect. This meant that if anybody found escaped or free slaves, then they could capture them and return them to their owners for money. Harriet Tubman found out about this and re-routed the Underground Railway to Canada, which prohibited slavery categorically. According to Biography.com "Law enforcement officials in the North were compelled to aid in the capture of slaves, regardless of their personal principles. In response to the law, Tubman re-routed the Underground Railroad to Canada, which prohibited slavery categorically."
Harriet Tubman also deserves a monument in Washington D.C. because she helped the Union army during the Civil War. According to Biography.com "Working for the Union Army as a cook and nurse, Tubman quickly became an armed scout and spy. The first woman to lead an armed expedition in the war, she guided the Combahee River Raid, which liberated more than 700 slaves in South Carolina." Harriet Tubman helped the North spy on the South when she used the Underground Railway to free slaves. For helping the North during the Civil War, Harriet Tubman should get a monument for the good deeds she has done to the troops. Harriet Tubman helped the troops with medical problems and cooked for them.
Harriet Tubman donated some of her land to the African Methodist Episcopal Church. According to Biography.com "1903, she donated a parcel of her land to the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Auburn. The Harriet Tubman Home for the Aged opened on this site in 1908." Harriet Tubman continued to help people even though she was in poor health. Harriet Tubman helped a business get going. The business helps older people, like a nursing home does. Harriet Tubman was all about helping others, so this is why she needs a monument.
Where the monument should be and why - Harriet Tubman's monument should be by the Lincoln Memorial because Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln was mostly talking about slavery. On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his I have a Dream Speech that dealt with slavery. His speech was to hope that slaves in North America would be free and have equal rights as the whites did. Abraham Lincoln came into office as president of the United States to end slavery, and bring the Southern states back to be re-united with the North. Abraham started the Civil War to bring back the South, since they seceded, and to end slavery. Now, Harriet Tubman's memorial should go somewhere beside the Lincoln Memorial because this would be the right place to put it. The whole entire area is remembered by famous people, trying to give African Americans freedom.
Harriet Tubman should have a monument in Washington D.C. by the Lincoln memorial because she helped slaves escape from the South. Harriet Tubman helped give over 700 African Americans freedom. Harriet Tubman also helped the Union Army in the Civil War by being a nurse and a cook. Harriet was an armed spy for the Union Army. Harriet Tubman's monument should be by the Lincoln's memorial because Abraham Lincoln was trying to free the slaves and bring back the South. Martin Luther King Jr. also gave his I Have a Dream Speech at the Lincoln Memorial. Martin Luther was trying to free slaves and get African American's the rights they deserve. When people see the Lincoln memorial, they will think of what Abraham Lincoln did. When they think of what Abraham Lincoln had done, they will think about the Emancipation Proclamation, which tried to free slaves. This sets the perfect mood for Harriet Tubman's memorial.
In order for me, Elijah Radcliffe, to reach what I want to be, I have to put in the work it takes to be that.
In my current life right now, I really want to be one of the best players on our team at basketball. Do I deserve this? No, I probably do not because I barely put the work I need into the off season. If I want to be the best, or at my full potential, then I need to practice everyday at the things I drastically need to improve on. If I don't do this, then I don't deserve to be one of the best players on our team.
In my future, I want my dream job, and a good, happy life. If I want to have my dream job, then I will need to work hard in school to earn the right to have it. I will need to do the best in school, so that means I need to get good grades and have good behavior in school. If I want a happy life, then I need to work on surrounding myself with good people that I can trust, stay away from bad things. A happy life begins when you choose to put the work in.
In order for me to reach what I want to be, I have to put in the work it takes to be that. Right now, In my teenage life, I want to be the best basketball player on my team, But in order to do that, I will need to put in the work that it takes. If I don't put in the work, then how will I expect to be one of the best on our team? I will not deserve to be the best if I do nothing about it. At the stage in my life where I am an adult, I want my dream job, and a happy life. If I do nothing to make this happen, then my life will be sad and miserable. If I don't put in the work it takes to have a happy life, then what I deserve is to have a sad and miserable life. Whatever you want to be takes work to do it.
Do you want another terrorist attack to happen anywhere just because the FBI cannot hack into phones? The FBI should be able to hack iphones to stop terrorists.
The FBI should be able to hack iphones so they can stop terrorist attacks. According to Whitt Flora author of Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts “Our political leaders have been slow to heed those warnings, but now, hopefully, they are starting to realize that what could be World War III has already started.” “The bombings in Brussels, the European Union’s headquarters city, put all of Europe on a red alert.” “And U.S. intelligence experts have warned for years that there may be several thousand Islamic terrorists embedded in America awaiting similar orders.”(2016) Everybody complains to the government when a terrorist attack happens, but whenever the government (aka the FBI) tries to do anything, they get shut down. There are already terrorists in America waiting for the right time to kill someone, so if the FBI has access to their phones, then they could stop them before they do it. If Apple gave the FBI permission, or a new software to see into their phones, then the FBI should be able to stop terrorists before anything can happen.
The FBI should not be able to have Apple void their product rights, unless it is a time of need. According to Randall G. Holcombe author of Apple CEO was right to defend basics “Regardless of whether the software the FBI wanted Apple to create would create problems for phone owners, forcing Apple to create such software would have violated the rights of the company and its stakeholders.” “War powers in effect during the two World Wars gave the president substantial power to force corporations to redirect their resources toward producing output to aid the war effort. Those war powers were repealed after the wars ended. The FBI wanted to claim similar powers during normal times, without an act of Congress.” (2016) The FBI should be able to hack iphones because nobody wants someone, especially in America, to die from a terrorist attack. These people that think the FBI shouldn’t be able to hack iphones will be mad at the government for not doing anything about a terrorist that blew up their family. I bet you that they will start to protest against the government for doing nothing about the terrorists in America. The whole entire world may be going into WW III with the Middle East, so the FBI should be able to stop the terrorists before they do anything. Now, my question is: Would you want another terrorist attack like 911 or the Boston Marathon bombing to happen again because the FBI can’t see what the terrorists are doing? Over 3,000 people died in the 911 and Boston Marathon attacks. So would you rather have that many people die, just so you could have privacy on your iphone?
When the government needed help from companies, alot of them jumped in to help, so Apple should help the FBI. According to Whitt Flora author of Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts “Their mission: to make America “the arsenal of democracy.” They accomplished that goal in short order by ending the manufacturing of civilian goods at the nation’s largest industrial plants and quickly converting those facilities to wartime production.”(2016) According to Whitt Flora author of Apple's refusal to cooperate harms FBI's counterterrorism efforts “Ford, for instance, converted its sprawling vehicle factory at Willow Run to producing bombers, including some 24,000 B-24 Liberators.” (2016) Companies that produced civilian goods switched over to help America in a time of need. I think Apple should help the FBI out with their phones. Ford stopped producing profit to build airplanes for the Military. Did that affect them? No it didn’t. After WW II, Ford went back to producing civilian products. Chrysler built tanks for the army. Both of these companies are still in business today doing just fine. Apple makes over $18 billion a year, so they should not crumble from a few of their customers not buying their products.
The FBI should be able to hack into phones to keep a terrorist from bombing some place in the world. When the government needed help from companies, alot of them jumped in to help, so Apple should help the FBI. Civilian companies, like Ford and Chrysler, helped out the government, but they stopped producing goods for their customers. Did this affect them? No it didn’t. Ford for instance didn’t loose any customers to affect them at all after they switched to military products for WW II. Ford is still going strong to this day. The FBI should not be able to have Apple void their product rights, unless it is a time of need. This is a time of need. We don’t know if we will be in WW III any time soon, so it is best to stop the terrorists in America before they get the order to bomb anything.
You need to take off your tire on the highway and want to replace it, but don’t know how? I will help guide you through the way. It is very important to put on a tire the right way.
In order to take off a car tire, you need the right tools. According to "Remove Lug Nuts and Tires." WikiHow. “ Before jacking the car up, use your wrench or tire iron to break the lug nuts loose.” In order to take off the tire, you need a jack, lug nut wrench, or a socket. The jack is what you’ll use to get the car off the ground. The socket or lug wrench will unscrew the lug nuts from the tire, so you can take the tire off.
In order to take off the tire, follow these easy steps. According to "How To Change a Tire." DMV.org. “ Spare tire, Jack, and a Lug wrench. The spare tire, jack, and lug wrench are vital and should all come with your vehicle.” In order to take off off the tire, you will need to take off the lug nuts with either a wrench, a lug nut wrench, or a socket. Once you loosen these, you can jack up the car. After you jack up the car, take the lug nuts off the rest of the way(put these where you remember them). Take the spare tire(donut tire) from underneath the car and line it up on the wheel studs. Once they are lined up with the wheel studs, put on the lug nuts. When you tighten them, you do the one opposite from the one you just tightened. After you did this, you should be good to go.
The benefits of this is that you will save money. According to CostHelper.com “Having a tow truck move a disabled vehicle to a repair shop, residence or other destination typically means paying a base rate (sometimes called a hook-up fee) of $35-$100, and $2.50-$5 per mile; the first five to seven miles may be included in the base fee. If you call a tow truck, they can charge you more money than a new tire is worth. Putting on your tire by yourself will help you save more money. Mechanics putting on tires can cost around $70 to $80 dollars just for labor, but you could do it yourself for free in like 10 minutes.
It is very important to put your tire on the right way because your tire could fall off. In order to take off and install your tire the right way. You will also need the necessary tools to do so. You also need to remember the pattern for tightening the lug nuts. If you don’t tighten the lug nuts in a pattern, then they could unscrew each other and make the wheel fall off. Taking off your tire without an mechanic will benefit you by saving almost $100 dollars that a mechanic would cost just for labor.

Celebrities get a lot of attention, but is all of that attention really good for you? Having a lot of people around you, following you, puts a lot of stress on celebrities. Being famous would not make a lot of people happy all of the time because there is way too much drama involved.
Some celebrities have to deal with a lot of drama and guidelines that you have to follow. An example I have personally heard was one celebrity was being criticized for being heavier than other celebrities. According to Fame Can Make you Happy "Lawrence is holding steady too, though she has had to deal with a lot of drama. Her phone has been hacked and her looks and eating habits have been criticized in the media." The media attacks anything they can about celebrities. Anytime a celebrity walks around, they have to worry about someone spotting them and running after them. According to Fame Can Make you Happy "Lawrence said that simply stepping outside her front door gives her anxiety. Famous people can’t so much walk their dogs without being gawked at, photographed, tweeted about, or instagrammed.” Celebrities worry about their friends they have. They do not know if their friends like them for who they are or for what they got. According to Fame Can Make you Happy"But according to Rockwell, it can be difficult for a celebrity to trust others and to make and keep true friends. Stars have to wonder if their “friends” like them for who they are or for what they have."
Being famous would be awesome because you get free clothes and products. Being a celebrity, you get to meet fans from around the world and go to prestige shows with front row seats. Celebrities get to meet new people and make new friends, but some do not know if their friends like them for who they are, or for what they got. According to Fame Can Make you Happy “She earns more money from one movie than most people make in a lifetime. Plus, she gets amazing perks, like free clothes from top designers, front-row seats at prestigious award shows, and trips around the world.” Being a celebrity could be good in some cases, but the cons that contribute to being a celebrity weighs the pros down. What if you don't like your fans being around you all the time out in public? What if some of your fans want to kill you? All of the pressure of everyone surrounding a celebrity would give them anxiety. According to Fame Can Make you Happy “ Lawrence said that simply stepping outside her front door gives her anxiety.” Being a celebrity would be bad because there might be some fake friends that just want money and not friendship.
Although all of the free stuff you get would be amazing, your happiness would flee away from you after awhile. After awhile of being a celebrity, me or you would get bored of all of the attention and free clothes that celebrities get. According to Fame Can Make you Happy,Donna Rockwell “Turns out, the happiness that comes from fame is fleeting. It’s the kind of happiness you get when you buy a new purse,” A celebrity might get bored of all of the attention that his/her fans give them after a couple days/weeks/months.
Being famous would not make a lot of people happy because there is way too much drama involved. Some celebrities have a lot of drama to deal with when they are famous. Celebrities get criticized by the media about what they eat and how fat they are. Yes, it would be awesome to get free clothes and meet new people, but some celebrities cannot trust their friends at all. They do not know if their friends like them for who they are or for what they have, so this puts a lot of anxiety on them. Some celebrities have had their phones hacked too. According to Fame Can Make you Happy “ Lawrence Her phone has been hacked and her looks and eating habits have been criticized in the media.” Most people would not be able to handle the pressure of all of the people surrounding them. Celebrities have to watch what they eat or else the media attacks them for it.
My Christmas break was pretty fun, but was also pretty boring most of the time.
On Christmas, I got a action camera from the company Vivitar, which made me extremely happy. This made me happy because I wanted to buy myself a actual gopro for my youtube channel, but I did not have enough money for the one I wanted. My brother and I mounted the camera to his ranger, a ford pickup that is beast, and we drove around on ridge road drifting in the snow. This was the best thing I did through the whole entire break. The only thing I don’t like about the camera is that it freezes in cold weather. Also, I do need a dirt bike helmet to put the camera on and a few accessories like a mic, in order for the camera to pick up my voice. The camera became boring after a couple days because I ran out of ideas
After Christmas, Charlie, my younger brother, and I all went out to the church to mess around on all of the ice. The parking lot was all ice, so we got a smart idea to go ride our bikes on the ice. Charlie told me to drift around the back of the church and said he’d record it, so I asked Eli for his helmet which came in handy because I fell alot and hit my head.
On Christmas Eve, my family went bowling at Dynasty Lanes in Willard for my sister's birthday. On Christmas, I got a new game that was Battlefield 4 for Xbox 360. I could not really play it that much because I had a job every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I do not mind working over my breaks because, since I get paid, I will be able to buy more things and save up my money for the car I want to get. I got two more years till I start driving and I already have over $500.00. I have one more year till I get my permit. The car I want is a 2000 v6 Ford mustang that is around $1,000.
Although my Christmas break was fun and exciting, it was also boring because none of my friends could hang out half of the time. All except for New Year's, Charlie could not hang out with me and Eli. On New Year’s, Charlie came over to hang out at my house, and we had fun. After that day, everything got boring and I just sat at the house watching tv. Another thing that contributed to making the Christmas break even more boring was that I was too busy to go over to my grandmas house and play a new game I got for my xbox.
I am a 14 year old student at South Central Local Schools. My GPA is 3.62, so I need to keep my grades up and study more. I like to work with my hands and be moving around instead of sitting around looking at a screen. My dad and I like to work with trains, watch them, and model railroad with them. We like to build things that are useful for everyday life, as well as building things for our layout. I love being outside and traveling around to new places to explore. I want to be a locomotive engineer for the railroad.
For my future job, my employers will send me to a trade school to learn all of the necessary tools/skills that I need to know . I will definitely need to graduate high school, so I can get my diploma. A high school diploma is required for this job. The skills you are required to have are “Skills - Operation and Control, Operation Monitoring, Active Listening.” Source Ohio Means Jobs. I will be able to accomplish these skills that they require you to know. The trade school will teach me how to drive a train, operate a train, and the hand signals. They will also teach me about public safety, so if I am on a passenger train, then I will know how fast to go and everything like that. I will be able to complete these skills because I pay attention in class, to my surroundings, and I turn in my homework on time. I always try to show up for school, so I do not get any tardies. I can control my stress, and I am very dependable on different things you might need (like a ride home).
To be an locomotive engineer, I will need to be able to listen to orders from the conductor. According to "Railroad Engineer." Wikipedia. Wikimedia Foundation. “An engineer is responsible for preparing equipment for service, checking paperwork and the condition of the locomotives. Their duties require that they control acceleration, braking and handling of the train underway.” I will need to hear clearly from what the conductor said. Like, if I am in control of a passenger train, then I need to hear them say “all clear” for the platforms and doors. There is a lot of responsibility that goes along with driving a locomotive, so this can lead to a lot of stress on the driver.
For my job, I would either stay in Ohio and get paid $46,000 yearly, or I would move to Kentucky and get paid $66,000 yearly. I would be doing this my whole entire career till I could not work anymore. I would retire around at least 65 maybe 70, depending on my health. According to Ohio Means Jobs “ Ohio Annual Salary$45,880/yr Ohio Hourly Wage$22.06/h” According to Salary.com, Site Built By: “ Locomotive Engineer - Salary $64,464, Louisville, Kentucky” I would retire when I cannot work anymore. The only way I’ll stop working is if I get tired of going to work, or I am in bad shape. I love trains alot, so I would not mind being around trains the rest of my life. I am fine with either staying in Ohio, or moving to Kentucky because I have family down in Kentucky. Although, I am thinking about staying up here in Ohio because all of my friends are up here. There might be a possibility that Norfolk and Southern might be busy with coal trains if Donald Trump starts to bring back more coal powered plants.
Career day helped me understand what I was doing with my money and how to spend my money. All of the research I discovered helped me understand what all I needed to do for this job and what education I need in order to make it. I know the necessary necessities of life, especially if you have kids and a wife. I understand what is going to happen when I get out and into the world without the help of my parents. I understand what my parents say when we cannot get this product right now. I have found out alot of things that I need to know in order to get this job.
I want to work on the Railroad because I like to work on trains, drive them, and repair them.
My job was being an railroad transportation to transport people and goods across America. I love trains as much as a car guy loves cars, so I would want to work on the railroad. I would be around trains almost all day. I did not know that the company took money out of your paycheck to put into your retirement. I knew that you could put money into your savings account because I do that all the time with the paychecks I get from my boss.
I learned that I need to save my money and put it to good use on things that we need like food, water, car insurance, rentors insurance, clothes, a car, debt, and entertainment. I do have more appreciation for my parents when they say we cannot get something right now. My mom and dad have debt from college they have to pay off and they need money for that. Life is kind of hard with children and a wife, because you not only have to pay for your clothes and food, but you have to get theirs to, which can be expensive.
I learned that life is kind of easier than I put it out to be, but can also be very stressful for some people. I would like to see how much money I would be left with if it was just me to buy and pay for. I only had $68.50 left over without taking money away from my savings account from 2 kids and a wife. I learned that the ufo sightings people see are probably the U.S. Airforce testing out a new plane that hasn't publicly been announced yet. The Airforce has better food than the U.S. Army. C.S.I/ Forensics investigators use that machine ' Mass Spectrometry to figure out what is in a subsistence that is unknown to them. I find this as a pretty cool machine to use.
I am on Donald Trump’s side and I will vote for him. Every citizen of America should vote for Donald Trump.
Donald Trump does not want to take away our guns because this is an amendment of the Constitution. Donald Trump said “ If we had guns in California on the other side where the bullets went in the different direction, you wouldn't have 14 or 15 people dead right now. If even in Paris, if they had guns on the other side, going in the opposite direction, you wouldn't have 130 people plus dead. So the answer is no." Source: Washington Post, “6th Republican Debate Transcript, Annotated: Who Said What and What It Meant,” washingtonpost.com, Jan. 14, 201 Donald Trump is saying that if people had guns in California, then there would be a possibility of nobody dying. Hillary Clinton wants to take away more guns, but this is what the founding fathers fought for during the Revolutionary War. Hillary Clinton also wants to take guns away from criminals, but truth to be told, criminals can go onto the black market and buy a gun without the government knowing about them having a gun. Almost all of the gun bans you see and have in california are bad. They limit your right to bear arms by not allowing you to have a button to push to change your mag. These laws just limit legal gun owners rights, but do not do anything to criminals that don't follow the laws. People got to remember - GUN’S DON’T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. How we can cut back on people killing people? America as a whole can teach young kids gun safety courses to make sure they know what they are doing, so the gun violence can go down alot more faster than it ever has.
Hillary Clinton wants to import Syrian refugees without strict background checks, and this is a serious problem. Donald Trump states "We have no idea who these people are. This could be one of the great Trojan horses... We cannot let them into this country, period. Our country has tremendous problems. We can't have another problem." What Donald Trump is stating is that America already has enough serious problems as it is. One main problem is Veterans that are out on the streets. We should be more focused on getting them homes, food, water, and jobs, so they can get back on their feet. Hillary Clinton wants to give Syrian refugees homes and health care. My main question is Why don’t we help out our Veterans instead of foreign immigrants? Donald Trump wants stricter background checks on all of the people coming into America, so we know if they are terrorists or not.
Hillary Clinton wants Iran to have Nuclear Power. “Yes it is. And we absolutely should not turn it down…” Source: Brookings Institution, "Hillary Clinton Addresses the Iran Nuclear Deal," brookings.edu, Sep. 9, 2015. This is a seriously bad idea because Iran could make nuclear weapons to bomb other countries with. Donald Trump does not want Iran to have nuclear power, so they don’t do another terrorist attack on the United States like they did to the World Trade Towers. "The Obama Administration's agreement with Iran is very dangerous. This deal sets off a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, which is the most-unstable region in the world. It is a horrible and perhaps catastrophic event for Israel. Source: Fox News Insider, "'A Staggeringly Bad Deal': 2016 GOP Field Reacts to Obama's Nuclear Deal with Iran," insider.foxnews.com, July 14, 2015, Iran has many terrorists in their country that could use nuclear power to their advantage. Iran having nuclear power is very scary to say the least. They would be able to make nuclear bombs and bomb other countries like the United States. There is also the possibility of them blowing up their own country like Chernobyl in Russia. Their country would be radiated and would also spread radiation into other countries and the atmosphere. All of them would have to move somewhere else from the radiation to survive.
Donald Trump would be a better president for America than Hillary Clinton because Donald Trump does not want to take away our second amendment that we have granted to us by the United States Constitution as a citizen. Importing alot of illegal immigrants to America will take up more jobs for them than how much jobs Americans need. Iran with nuclear power could lead to world deconstruction. Iran could attack America, China, and Russia with nuclear warheads, but no-one wants that. Getting stricter background checks on immigrants coming to America is a good thing to do, so we do not more terrorists in America.

I support the side that does not want tax on sugary drinks.
I support the side that does not want any tax on sugary drinks because some people will continue to keep on drinking sugar beverages and not care if there is a tax on it. The government wants to make people stop drinking bad things for you like pop or Iced tea, but the truth is they don't really care if it kills them, they'll drink it anyway if they want. The tax will hurt small businesses like the corner store in North Fairfield and other places. "Grocery tax will lead to higher prices on other goods. They claim this will hurt small businesses and customers struggling to survive in one of the country's most expensive places." By Associated Press, adapted by Newsela Staff. City leaders can also use the money for whatever they want. Small businesses work hard to stay in business without any tax, but with the tax they will have to raise the prices on products to make any profit at all from their business. "We work so hard to keep the price low as much as possible, and we work every day to continue to stay in business," said Adel Alghazali. By Associated Press, adapted by Newsela Staff
I do not want tax on sugary drinks mainly because I always buy Arizona at the store in North Fairfield for $0.99, so I don't have to waste that much money. After school gets out, me and my friends hang out by playing basketball down at the park, or hanging out at Eli's house. I usually go to the corner store and buy them something to eat and drink, but with the tax, the pops and Arizona's cost will be way more expensive then what I can make from working because I only have an summer job. People that get addicted to sugary drinks and end up being diabetics are there fault for drinking the sugar and not stopping. They could've gotten help to fight the addiction they had.
Taxes on sugary drinks are a bad idea because they just won't simply work to cut out people drinking pop, iced tea, Arizona, etc. They will drink it if they want to and a lot of people that don't have that much money depend on cheap sugary drinks to stay hydrated and kind of healthy. Small businesses may go out of business, so they support the beverage Industry to stop the taxes from happening.
Screenflow is an application that allows you to record your desktop and yourself. You can record just about anything you want to and post it to youtube to show people how to do things they are not too sure about, like building a rocket, repairing cars, replacing decks on mowers, and how to use screenflow itself.
I created an tutorial that explains how to use screenflow's features. The first thing that is kind of important is zooming in or out of your clips to get down to a .5 seconds. This is useful for long videos that you make so you can see your whole entire video that you just made. This allows you to align annotations easier. The second tool I used was the scale tool to zoom in the screen to show the viewers what I clicked and also to get the menu out of the frame. This helps the viewers get to actually see all of the things I see when I recorded this. After I used the scale to zoom in and out the clips, I used the call out feature to show exactly where I wanted the viewers to see all of the important things instead of unimportant things. The next feature I added does almost the same as the callout feature, but actually points or circles the object you want to stand out and look at. I used this to also point out where and what website and page I wanted the viewer to use. I went on from using annotations to splitting the clips. Splitting the clips let you take out part of the clips you don't want in there. In my video, I took out part of the clip that wasn't useful for the viewers to see( like the loading screen of another page and where I was lost on what page to click). Transitions are what I used next. Transitions are useful for making the clips slide into each other smoother and not just jump from clip to clip. In the tutorial, after I used transitions, I used a text box to tell and say or describe what this video is going to be about. You can use text boxes to say what you want them to do if you didn't say it and what websites to use. Tutorial is spelled like that but in the video I messed it up by saying tutorial and corrected myself with another text box saying how it is spelled.
Screenflow might be useful to me if I need to edit my videos I make for youtube because I usually record with my phone but youtube won't let me edit the clips or drag more clips into each other. I plan on getting a go pro or a camera similar to a go pro to record basketball, parkour with my friends, and riding dirt bikes or four wheelers. Screenflow will be able to help me edit these clips I plan on making in the future so the video isn't a 10 minute long video of boring things. My second job I want to do besides working on the Railroad is motovloging, and this will be helpful if I see any crashes that the police will need, so I can scale in the video so they can see the crash nice and clear. If I wanted to record anything for school to put on youtube to help people on lessons then this will be helpful for them to use.
My hero is my Dad, Joshua Radcliffe, because he supports me in almost everything that I do. My Dad is the mayor of North Fairfield and works up in Mansfield at Oak Grove Manor as an Occupational Therapists.
My dad is smart, wise, funny, helpful, joyful , cheery, and jolly. My dad likes helping people. He is smart and funny. Up at his work, he helps people with disabilities. My dad likes to help out people that need help with things like when him and me built that swing set for the village of North Fairfield. We had to measure the holes, dig the holes with and hand held augur(that tore my arms, shoulders, and wrists up from digging 6 holes for a whole week). Yesterday, my dad helped some random stranger jumpstart their car. (One bad thing about him though is that he needs to learn how to say "NO" to people.)
My dad helps me out with my homework that I do not understand from class. He supported me on every decision I make. I was Hesitating on joining basketball. My dad told me to go for it and I liked it after that. My dad has taught me very important things that'll need to know later on down the road. My dad also taught me to not be like my older brother, who got tickets and his license taken away. He is my hero because I look up to him because
My summer was pretty fun. This summer went pretty good besides staying at home the whole summer. I got my mud mower running. All I need to do is just hook up a battery and it should start up. I played basketball alot with my friend Eli, but sadly we only had two people to play, so we couldn't have a game going. Eli and me were playing basketball, and while we were playing, we met this kid in our grade from Wilard that wanted to play basketball. I got my mud mower running, which needs a battery and needs a throttle cable.
My short term goals over the summer were to get better at my shooting form and be able to make more shots during a game. The second short goal I had was to get my mudding mower running before winter got here, which I have achieved. I am still improving over the summer, but I am able to make more shots in 20 seconds.
My long term goals during school and the summer is to get a good job to make good money. My second long term goal is to graduate school and get my high school diploma.
